Maine Icon Heather Blease, CEO of Savilinx is enjoying the national spotlight since being named 28th on the 2017 Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies list. Heather shared her fascinating entrepreneurial story from startup success to crashing failure and back again during a recent interview with Inc. Her company’s growth is a win for Maine as she continues to expand her team in the Brunswick area. Heather is an important example of perseverance and dedication to building Maine. Maine Icon Shawn Moody, founder of Moody’s Collision Centers will be celebrating a major milestone for his company this month. Shawn and his team will mark the company’s 40th anniversary with an Old Home Days celebration on October 14th. The festivities will be held at The Racetrack in Gorham beginning at 3:00 pm. The event includes a collection of food trucks, a bonfire and fireworks. The two highlights of the celebration are the “Moody’s Sprint Cup” race and an appearance by comedian and Portland, ME native Bob Marley. Congratulations to Shawn and his team!
Maine Icon Harold Pachios, founding partner at Preti Flaherty, was named to the 2018 Best Lawyers in America® list, along with 41 of Preti Flaherty’s attorneys. The list, published annually, is a highly-regarded, peer-reviewed directory of attorneys and law firms in the United States. According to the firm’s website, inclusion in Best Lawyers in America® is considered a high honor because each attorney is chosen by their peers. Nominations are based on an intensive peer-review survey in which more than 25,000 of the nation’s attorneys cast nearly two million votes.
